Ingredients:
Olive salad:
Chop fine in food processor, cover, refrigerate 12 hours (if possible)
2/3 cup green olives
2/3 cup black olives
1/3 cup fresh parsley
3 cloves garlic
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dry oregano
Sandwich:
1 long loaf of Italian bread, sliced in half horizontally. Remove soft inside, leaving 1/2-inch shell
1/3 pound hard salami
1/3 pound. boiled ham
1/3 pound provolone and/or mozzarella
It is important that the meat and cheese be sliced very thin
Instructions:
- To assemble, brush bread with oil from salad. Layer meats, cheese and salad alternately repeating several times.
