Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:

8 slices white bread (can be day old…or more, and you can use old hot dog or hamburger rolls)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs, beaten
3 cups whole milk
½ t. dry mustard
1 T. Worcestershire Sauce
½ t. salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Lightly butter the bread and break into cubes. In an ungreased casserole (2 quart), alternate layers of bread and cheese.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over bread, but do not mix. Cover and refrigerate overnight or up to two days. Bake one hour. Test with a sharp knife.
  4. You can add cut-up onions, peppers, bacon or ham. It’s also good for lunch.
