Lazy Mac ‘n Cheese

Ingredients:

1 box elbow macaroni
1 8 oz. block of sharp cheddar cheese, thinly sliced
4 tbsp salted butter
One 8 oz. can stewed or crushed tomatoes
3/4 cup whole milk

Instructions:

  1. Boil macaroni in heavily salted water 6-8 minutes until al dente – drain.
  2. In a buttered casserole dish, layer macaroni, pads of butter, cheese and tomatoes – repeat layers until you reach the top of the dish, cover with remaining cheese, pour milk over
    the dish and top with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Bake uncovered in a pre-heated 350-degree oven for 25 minutes or until top is melted and bubbly.
