PORTLAND, Maine – Today, the Maine Public Relations Council (MPRC) – the state’s leading association of communication professionals – named The PR Maven® Podcast a top-five public relations podcast in America. As a recent MPRC newsletter noted, Nancy Marshall of The PR Maven® Podcast “interviews industry leaders, top executives, media personalities and online influencers about PR and their personal brand.”
Launched in 2018 by Marshall, the founder and CEO of Marshall Communications known as “The PR Maven®,” the podcast has produced more than 160 episodes, interviewing celebrity chefs, community bank CEOs, newspaper executives and others. One of the podcast’s most popular episodes involved Bangor Police Department Lieutenant Tim Cotton, who manages the department’s viral Facebook page and shared tips for social media content creation. Promoting influencers like Cotton, The PR Maven® Podcast has reached thousands of listeners. Earlier this year, it was named one of the best 25 personal branding podcasts by Feedspot.
