AUGUSTA, Maine - Nikki Busmanis has joined Nancy Marshall Communications (NMC) as account coordinator/executive assistant. In her new position, Busmanis will work closely with Nancy Marshall in the day to day organization and coordination of client meetings, media event planning, and developing Marshall Plans, which are the agency’s branded integrated strategic marketing communications campaigns.

Busmanis is from China, Maine, and recently received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College. Before joining NMC, Busmanis interned at the public affairs firm of O’Neill and Associates of Boston, MA where she assisted in media outreach and press release distribution. In her position as administrative and orientation assistant for the Office of Campus Life at Colby, she was responsible for student housing coordination along with the creation and maintenance of pages for Colby's website.

Busmanis adds, "As I was nearing college graduation, I wanted to find a position in public relations but was unsure I could find a company that was fast-paced and challenging while still allowing me to stay in Maine. It seems a little like fate that Nancy and I are both Colby graduates and networked through that connection. After my first conversation with Nancy, I knew that her company and the work they do was something I would be proud to be a part of."
